Day 22 - Home

Well, we are home. Today we drove 689.9 miles and arrived at our house. It was a long day, but was marked by returning to the west: the humidity is low, the mountians are high and the trees are few and far between.

We unloaded as little as possible (and will cleanup fully in the morning). The kids all went to play with friends for the remaining hours of the evening and I, with a great sense of relief and peace, pulled weeds in my garden (which is doing just fine.)

Look for a follow up report or two over the next could of days as I put the trip to bed for the blog.
