Day 15 - to Niagara Falls

Today was a different day. We started slowly in bright sun with small dark clouds blowing by, threatening us. We cleaned up from the rain and packed up camp. Eventually we made it to the Hill Cumorah where we went to the top of the hill (which we had failed to do yesterday.)

Then we raced off to Rochester where we watched the new Harry Potter movie (fair.) From there it was off to Niagara Falls. We found our way to the Rainbow Bridge and crossed into Canada. We are staying in a hotel on the Canadian side, right near Horseshoe Falls. After checking in and some dinner, we walked down near the cliffs and waited for the firework show. While waiting we played Duck, Duck, Goose, which the younger kids all really liked. The firework show was fun.

Now, we are working on sleeping.

I am away from the van, so I don't know distances exactly. Yesterday we traveled about 80 miles and today about 120 miles. We bought gas today at $3.10, but are hopeful that it will fall again as we head west.
